Visited for the first time at the weekend and was very impressed by the effort gone in to the place - it has a friendly vibe, wide selection of drinks and great music for fans of steampunk, swing, vintage and so on. Nice to see a themed bar as a nice alternative to more mainstream establishments. Happy to recommend!
Small range of beer at a very high cost. As an musician I feel it isn't built well for live music performances. With concrete floor and steel walls, the sound just bounces around to much. It's a shame as it could be a really cool little venue.
Fantastic atmosphere, its so different to any other bar i've been to in Birmingham. Great drinks, music and staff! Would definitely recommend it to people who are looking for something alternative in the area. If you're looking for Electro swing, soft rock, ethereal music etc...Cogs Bar is the place too be!
Cogs Bar has brought the Steam Punk concept into a fantastic reality in Birmingham. I was surprised to see such sophisticated steam punk design elements and features. It is a comfortable, chilled out, relaxing place to meet new people and have a blast. A must visit Night Club
I love the food! Believe me or not but Indian cuisine is my favourite, I travel a lot for work, and I've eaten in many Indian restaurants. The food here was very good and service is outstanding. I can definitely recommend this place and will go back if I can.
One of my favourite new bars, great look and good staff, the stage os pretty small for bands to perform on but over all a great venue
Hosts Funeral Nation for a Dead Generation goth, industrial, EBM, synth and future pop, hard electronic every month with three floors! Great place.
Love it? Yes I do! Great place not far from anywhere in brum. Music loud, beer good what more can you ask.
