Always been good in the past, but time goes on and a new twist on an old recipe may be the best way forward. Nobody can eat the same if slightly inferior meal year after year. All would be fine if improvement was the goal, but that is impossible over the piece. Still a nice change but ennui can set in. Dave G. Broughty. ADG.

I really enjoyed my meal in the But 'n' Ben, I would recommend the smokie pancake. When I was there we had the high tea and it was very good
