Absolutely abysmal! The female staff member on today, was less than friendly, no menus were offered upon arrival neither was a smile. We ordered a tea and coffee, tea was served with hot milk?!? And the tea was “a PG tip” as so ‘politely’ pointed out by the server, coffee came in a glass?! Not a glass mug, a hot drink in a glass?! Where other patrons were given a cup/mug, Really?! Sugar was clearly on rations as it wasn’t left on the table ‍ mum asked for chips but was offered wedges instead, when they arrived they had a spicy seasoning, which we knew nothing about due no menu being offered, they were dry and they smelled like fish, yuck!!nNot sure why the server chose to serve us in the manner in which she did, customer service was not her strong suit!nAs we left our drinks and the wedges, I informed the server that we wouldn’t be paying for the items for the reasons given above, and was met with an argument as apposed to an apology, and told that we are on camera like we had done something wrong. To top off this review, the entire place smelled like soured milk or sick… I did like the floating benches and penny table tops though, the rest of the decor was dark and dingy.
Little gem in the centre of Arbroath and well worth the travel. Pizzas were perfect, great service and very cool venue.nnGot the blue cheese dip, which would have been great warmed up to make it hot and runny.
I went there this morning with my mate. We were sitting on for 30 minutes no one actually came to greeting or take an order but there was the women has saw us came in and she saw us but she was very busy talking to someone. No service no hello what so ever! Rude Rude! I NOT GOING BACK THERE. I think she need another training to be good waitress.
Hidden gem for the town. Up from the South coast visiting family in Scotland we were trying to find somewhere that would be really special for a family meal. This place did not disappoint. Proper Italian pizza with the best dough and crust I've had outside of Italy. The ingredients on the pizza were incredibly high quality too. Proper Italian meats, buffalo mozzarella that was incredibly fresh and creamy, unusual ingredients like truffle that you normally only find in high end restaurants. Nice selection of beers and wine too.nnThe pizza oven here is imported from Italy and it's beautiful. You can watch the pizzas being made from the best table in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is really stunning inside with nice lighting and smart bathroom facilities.nnThe staff were very friendly and helpful but just one bit of advice for the young servers you should wait for everyone to finish eating before you start clearing others plates away.nnI was really surprised that the place wasn't busy on a Friday night. Maybe the location being a bit tucked away.nnMany thanks and good luck for the future. I only wish I didn't live at the other end of the country but I'm sure my family will be back soon.
A lovely restaurant with the most authentic delicious pizzas. We ate here on Wednesday 4th June, & can honestly say it was the best pizza & garlic bread we ever had, the wedges were delicious to. Would highly recommend a visit, the staff were lovely & very friendly & helpful. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Arbroath. An absolute hidden gem.
