We stayed in the hotel one night and it was comfortable. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The room was simple and clean and the hotel pub offers a great menu for both dinner and breakfast. The selection of cocktails that can be ordered at the bar is truly noteworthy.
Gluten free options are excellent, Cullen skink is incredible but a main rather than a starter I would say!!, drinks just a wonder loving the cocktails with the ‘bubble’, but star of the show was James. His service was just second to none, he spotted everything and despite the place being absolutely mobbed nothing was too much trouble, he made the experience.
Stayed in this small hotel with friends for 3 nights last week. Never before have we found staff so friendly & helpful. They were just great. Had breakfast every morning and dinner on two of the nights and would happily dine there again. Rooms are quite basic but very clean & comfortable.nnWell done to all involved in the Townhouse Hotel
Stayed last night after funeral and the staff were amazing as we arrived on a busy evening quiz nightfinding us a table to have a meal which was lovely.lovely bedrooms and spotless with comfortable beds.Very busy in morning for breakfast with not only guests but public coming in as very good menu and great prices. Would highly recommend and will definitely return
My wife and I were visiting Arbroath for the weekend and a work colleague recommended it. It didn't disappoint. Great choice of food and drink at very reasonable prices.Food was freshly prepared and the service was very good.
