A wonderful hotel to stay in, the staff were exceptional, friendly and accommodating. Lovely breakfast choices that suit a variety of people. The room we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous and had a brilliant view.
Exceptional !!nI’d like to reach out to others who may be considering staying at The Burgoyne Hotel in Reeth, and say to them - DO IT ! book your room now ! It truly is a gem ! . The staff are hands on and super, super friendly , they can’t do enough for you , all of the guys are chatty ,and genuinely interested in ensuring your stay with them is first class , it’s so refreshing ! . The room we stayed in was classy, comfy, with a view of Reeth to die for . We can’t compliment the quality of the food highly enough - breakfast was quite superb; all local products of the highest quality , and cooked to perfection . Dinner was simply EXCEPTIONAL ! You’ve got to try it to appreciate the high standards this hotel has . A big thank you from us to ALL the staff you guys rock ! oh and we loved your pre dinner cocktails ! Just fab ! . Needless to say ‘we shall be back ‘ . Thanks again .
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Me and partner spent a night here on Halloween 2024. We also had our very friendly but very giddy Patterdale with us. The staff both morning and evening were so welcoming and put us at ease. Lovely room with spectacular views. We also had an evening meal here, what a treat that was. Pork tenderloin and belly, out of this world! Gorgeous decor, stunning views, mouthwatering food, great service and all at a fair price. We will definitely be returning
During our brief stay in Reeth we enjoyed lunch at The Burgoyne. Amazing soup & sandwich. There is a lunch special that is very good deal, drink / half sandwich / soup. Quiet, relaxing, upscale. This is a place to bring a date, parents or just nice quiet meal. Not loud, not a pub. Looks totally updated. Nice view of Reeth. We did not stay at the hotel check out Ivy Cottage for an amazing B&B in Reeth.
Magnificent lodgings only 4 star as our toilet was private- but across the public hallway from our room. Beautiful, comfortable, elegant, great views. Superb dining.
