Quite expensive for the dishes we ordered. What was described as vegetable curry was more curry soup. Could improve with adding more vegetables and a bit more rice to make more of a main meal than a light bite for the cost. Pub atmosphere nice and good location off motorway to stop off for a meal.
Through Open fire greets you. Lots of nooks and crannies, cosy and pretty lighting. Had small meal £10 roast pork. Loads of roast pots and broccoli, greens, carrots, gravy, 1 thick slice of pork. Friend had Fish and chips with side, was delicious. Spent leisurely 2hrs chatting peacefully. Coffees. No hassle. Will be back.
My partner and I visit the Bullfinch frequently and it is just the loveliest pub. A warm, welcoming atmosphere, the friendliest staff and great food. Bob and Mandy do a superb job and always remember the little details. The staff are a great team and we can’t fault the place. Whenever we order food, we’ve always been impressed with the quality and price- considering the area! They also run so many events, never a boring moment! Highly recommend. Thank you for all you do!
Bob, Mandy and the team are so friendly, the food is amazing and the venue is lovely. In the Summer the garden is a great place to have a drink. Highly recommended.
Good size car park- paved! Big mob of us all talking while the staff are trying to serve us- you know what it's like.... They excelled. Good food, great service - will come again. A lot of bad reviews which I don't understand - the food came up fast but then we did pre choose
The Bullfinch is a nice cosy pub for drinks, however if you decide you want to eat here be prepared to put aside a good few hours. The service for food is incredible slow. Every time I have been here I have had to wait 40mins to 1 hour for the food to arrive. Even if you preorder or the pub is quiet the food service is always an issue. The food is mediocre often bland, dry or overcooked. Although portion size is good on some meals others, especially the tapas style foods are over priced for what you get. This is a good pub for drinks and socializing with a nice summer garden, but for dining there are better pubs in the area.
I have found the staff and management at the Bullfinch to be hospitable, considerate and on the ball. Food is Good. The atmosphere is welcoming by all. Good pub in my opinion, with lots of space to either gather as a group or be more personal. Also a great fire as you walk in roaring in the winter month's, with a smaller fire in the bar area. The garden is huge enough to host most on a summer day.
Team lunch with staff friendly and helpful. Food was okay but traditional fish and chips seemed a bit over done with the mushy peas too dry. Okay but not as good other offerings in the area.
Had a fantastic night out at the Bullfinch last night. Betty Bangs ! Great Singer , Very Funny. Food Excellent and Good value ! Staff friendly and Great Service. Looking forward to returning again. David and Jo from Sevenoaks.
Really enjoyed our roast dinner and the service from Jamie and the rest of the team was great. We will definitely come again!
