Amazing lunch, the staff were so nice and attentive. We had three of the starters, all of them were delicious. The truffle butternut and pigeon were our favorites. We also had non alcoholic cocktails, even though it wasn't on the menu, really great! The inside of the restaurant looked really good, very beautiful scenery. It must be lovely for dinner as well, with the lights that are coming from the ceiling through the flowers. The food has French accents but elevated and the flavors are beautiful. We had a main each, and shared a dessert as well, it was amazing food. Beautifully presented and cooked, worth it all the way through! We will definitely come again, to try the pub menu next time definitely!
We had the most amazing meal we thoroughly enjoyed it! Service was was fantastic the girls were really polite and helpful and the pub is done out beautifully. I've wanted to come here for ages and it was so worth the wait! Thank you so much, I can't wait for next time
We had a lovely Christmas dinner in one of the pods which was beautifully decorated in winter Christmas in white and gold. We ordered in advance which made it all easier, but it was so busy. We were the second sitting so we had to wait while the first sitting left which wasn't too bad. The food was good but it all took a long time to come out. Put drinks took a long time to come out, we were given bread rolls 10 mins before our volute, then the butter arrived 5 mins after that. There were only 3 of us and the whole meal took 3.5 hours with long delays but the food was hot and very good. We had a lovely server, Carly who was clearly run off her feet. Then the pod leaked a little when it started to rain. It was a lovely, unique experience, expensive but it was Christmas. It would be nice to try the restaurant on a normal day, so we weren't put off by the delays.
Highly recommend. Lovely village pub, very good food and really friendly service. We’ll return.
We only had 2 negatives, the first being that I had to keep my coat on as the fire was waiting to be fixed, maybe the radiators could have been turned on earlier. A courteous call beforehand to inform us, would have been nice. The other was the menu print, very, very faint we didn't even realise the prices were on it. On a positive note, the staff were lovely, very polite and with a sense of humour too. The food was excellent, the decor very pleasant and the pods looked amazing!
We had the most delicious meal and had faultless service. The fire was on and was such a lovely atmosphere on a cold evening! Is also dog friendly - the dogs got treated to a water bowl and treats and felt right at home! Will absolutely be back again!
Had an exquisite Sunday lunch with family in our own exclusive pod. It made us all feel so special & lovely to be to talk freely & everyone could hear each other. The food was so tasty, all courses enjoyed by everyone & plenty of it. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it & we’ll certainly be returning soon Thank you to all the staff for looking after us.
Had an amazing time today at the Christmas lunch. All the food was incredible credit to chef Freddie and George. The restaurant was packed but service was a high standard. Having a live singer there Liam Joseph really made the festive atmosphere. Absolutely loved it!
What an amazing place, went on Friday night for well earned date night with the wife , started off with a coconut Expresso and a classic, which were delicious. My wife had the scallops . Then we treated ourselves to the chateaubriand. This was a treat , but did not disappoint. Such a large portion with perfect sides and amazing sauce. The chefs are clearly talented as everything was cooked to perfection. The service by our waiter Oliver was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. It's not cheap , but you don't mind paying when the quality matches the price
Amazing experience. The food was out of this world. The steak was worth every penny was amazing. The staff and service was second to none. Highly recommend.
