Stayed here for 3 nights recently and was so impressed with the friendliness of staff who made us feel very welcome, nothing too much trouble at all.  It is a typical country pub which is wonderful in this day and age of various machines etc.in pubs.  We had a great time, and hopefully will be returning next year with all our friends who stayed here as well and who are all of the same opinion as me.  The  cooked English breakfast is wonderful, it was so filling I really didn't want anything else until he evening.  I would recommend anyone to stay here, real value for money

Went with a party of eleven, beautiful old building warm & inviting. The service was prompt, all food arrived together with plenty of vegetables. I am  on a gluten free diet which was catered for very well, all in all we had a lovely afternoon
