Passing by and thought we would pop in. Food was incredible. I had the beef ribs- it was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Would be worth travelling from Belfast just for this meal again! Prices are a little high but i definitely think it’s worth it for food of this quality. Service was quick and staff were friendly.
We go here relatively often, one of the favourites are the Salt and Chilli Chicken, of which personally the starter portion with some fries are large enough as a main for me!nThe staff are always friendly, and we were recently here for a little catch up with some family on a Sunday lunchtime, which was lovely.nI recently had a rump steak which was ok, I would have liked it pinker than it was, but the waitress did say when I ordered it, that because of the cut, that it might be hard to do, so I accept that. Everyone else seemed to be pleased and we enjoyed ourselves.nnEdit 3/5/25 - Have been back at least 4 times since review above, and have added some more photos - Crab Arancini is excellent as were the Sea Bass and the Hake
First time trying here and I must say from the moment we walked in the doors we were greeted warmly our server was very welcoming, helpful and provided an excellent service throughout our meal.nsorry I didn’t catch his name The food arrived warm with generous sized portions. I had the salted chilli starter, this was enough for two people. I then had a steak which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious the triple cooked chips were also very tasty, my only negative was the mash potatoes as they were very lumpy and a little watery so I didn’t really eat them but the dessert was also great. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at the bull & claw in Donaghadee staff were lovely, good atmosphere and reasonably priced food and we look forward to our next visit.
Took parents for Father's Day lunch. First time here. Food was excellent and the service very efficient despite a busy Sunday afternoon. Enjoyed Duck Gyoza for starters, Turkey and Ham, which was one of the best I have had really tender and Sticky Toffee Pudding to finish. Generally good value. Parents enjoyed their food, including Roast Beef and Cheesecake. Will definitely try here again.
Had a lovely lunch with family always good to find a great place to eat. I had the seabass really tasty. My wife had the 6oz rump with prawns. All from their specials menu all well presented. We will be back
