Excellent breakfast and super service. We had a lovely experience and were made to feel very welcome. Super food that was served promptly and presented beautifully. Coffee was lovely and we were offered filter coffee top ups. Excellent value for money and we will be back.
Food was pleasant, large portions, good selection and reasonably priced. However what really let it down today was the service from the one particular member of staff. We asked to be moved because my grandmother was cold and he made it clear this was a huge inconvenience for him despite lots of empty tables. My grandmother asked for mash instead of boiled potatos due to her swallow and we actually received an eye roll as he took the order, my Mum felt she had to explain there was genuine reason for asking for the softer option. All other staff were lovely and a credit to the restaurant but I wouldn't be returning after this service. Parking: Street parking
Had a beautiful Saturday lunch here with my husband recently. Food was excellent and staff were so friendly and helpful. Needs a wee update decor wise in my opinion but definitely wouldn't stop me going
We had a lovely weekend in Donaghadee staying in pier36. The room was beautifully decorated with a more than comfortable bed. We had dinner and breakfast which were superb. The staff were very helpful and very courteous. All in all a wonderful weekend.
We had a meal here Saturday the 11t feb. myself and my fiancé have never tasted a steak like it. Set down at the harbor it’s a warm clean welcoming place to eat With friendly staff and quick service Nothing was a problem at all. The owners was on the floor making sure everyone was satisfied with their food. Definitely be back asap. Thank you from Ian & Denise
The food was good, I had the burger and it was juicy but not pink. Just right for me. All other meals looked cooked just perfect, too. Very good quality food, from starters to desert.
The restaurant is beautiful inside - a very warm atmosphere with friendly, well organized staff. I had a Thai curry which was perfect for the cold winter's day. Visiting from South Africa.
Nice atmosphere, staff were friendly and let us keep our dog by the table. Food was reasonably priced and tasted good. Lovely location too!
Best meal out, of the trip home, hands down. The chowder was outstanding. The Strangford Lough mussels next level. I could happily drink a pint of the creamy mussel liquor all on its own. The mussel flesh, sweet and cooked perfectly. My brother really enjoyed his battered haddock with sides and said the kitchen really cares about what it serves. Mum loved her Portavogie Scampi and Dad happily worked his way through a massive burger. Great seafood, expertly cooked. Warm, efficient service. Highly recommended.
We were given a recommendation to come here for dinner. We both ordered the special, sea bass with salsa verde, spinach and chilli. It was a taste sensation - a perfectly cooked and blended dish. Service was excellent also. Will return.
