Impromptu visit on a busy Saturday evening. Lots of people out for dinner but they found a little niche for us! Great food, friendly staff, would recommend a visit
Wonderful old pub but let down by very inconsistent service - in the restaurant, we had to go up and ask somebody to take our order, then flag them down for the bill. Rounding things off - we wanted to have a drink in the oldest section of the pub by the front door. No one was there. We waited… and waited. Finally I had to go flag somebody down with a very rushed apology - and we had to wait some more. Shame as the pub part is lovely - but I’d avoid.
Grace Neill's has been a favourite spot for us and we have in the pass recommended it all our friends. Family and friends arrived for a family birthday celebration Saturday evening. Staff as always on the ball, polite and professional, 10 out of 10. Food was a massive let down. I had pre ordered the roast dinner, tough meat, little to no veg 2 roast potatoes as hard as golf balls. Left most of my meal. It was extremely busy and I'm sure the kitchen was under pressure but to send out food of that quantity and quality was unexpectable. Will not rush back as one poor meal is an unfair judgement, but to the staff a hugh thank you
Brilliant old pub, only called in for a quick pint of Guinness. Richard was brilliant, thank you. Hopefully, we will get back down again soon.
First time having food in Grace Neill's and it was worth it. Everything was lovely. Service was very good and staff were very friendly and pleasant. Great range of food and also daily offers as well. Good range of desserts and cocktails. Will definitely be back again to try more of the menu.
