A beautiful and dog friendly pub. That showed the rugby union for the six nations on a large screen. Lovely food and charming staff. Its a really great pub with a lovely old interior and a big warm fire. Lots of local beers too and sunday lunch served until three o'clock.

Subtlety located along the main road through Stamford this gem can be completely missed. The ambiance retains its original medieval feel with stone windows, open fires, and wooden furniture. I popped in for a Sunday dinner and I recommend reserving a table in advance as it does get booked up during busy times. Food quality is exceptional, accompanied with friendly service from staff. Absolutely no issues. They even brought out a bowl of water for the dog. Prices are normal for gastro pub dining. All in all, a nice comfortable place to eat with friends and fam.

Great place. We went for a few drinks and found the staff really friendly and helpful. A lovely old pub which is really welcoming.

Excellent pub. Atmospheric, historic and near the centre of the fascinating town of Stamford. Super Sunday lunch served by pleasant and helpful staff. This pub has the added extra of welcoming house trained, well behaved dogs.

Absolutely gorgeous place. The food is amazing; the roasts are especially noteworthy. Lovely ambiance and helpful staff. I highly recommend to anyone travelling through, or enjoying the pleasure of staying in the stunning town of Stamford.
