Only had breakfast for two days of my four day stay - which was agreed with the owner as he was going away. However, we agreed cereals would be left for me so I could make my own breakfast. But the milk that was left for me had expired 3 MONTHS AGO, meaning I could not eat anything for breakfast!! In addition, all central heating was turned off when he went on holiday, leaving me with no heat in the living room (he said he would leave the log fire burning, but DID NOT) and only an electric heater to heat the bedroom - which was not sufficient in the cold weather we've been having. The situation was so bad that I actually left one day early as I was so disappointed by the way my stay developed. Not at all the kind of behaviour you'd expect from somebody who used to be the mayor of the town!

Superb local B&B for those weary travellers and especially John Wright making a trip from Germany. Fame travels far!
