Easy access to the car park through a one-way system road.nYou only pay for the length of stay at the carpark and nothing extra.nThere is a barrier system which scans your car registration number to calculate the amount to be charged. You can pay by card only at any of the machines located around the lifts on each parking floors.nThe space availability is clearly displayed at the entrance of car park for each floor. There are 4-5 floors of parking.nThere are clearly marked and spaced out parking for the disabled, children and normal parking.nThe shopping area can be accessed through lifts and the stairs. The lifts are wide enough for wheelchairs and push chairs users both alike.nToilets for the disabled are situated seperarley in and around the other toilets and baby changing facilities are available in the shopping area.nIn case of an emergency, a member of staff can easily be approached as there are security people walking on foot throughout the centre.
We used this car park when attending an event at Bradford Live. We used the postcode stated, and used google maps for driving directions. It took us to the back of Broadway shopping centre. Judging by the number of cars doing u turns don't think we were the only ones. The car park entrance is actually on Hall Ings so would be better using that for sat nav. I prepaid for parking. Plenty of spaces and no issues getting in or out. Out of hours access when returning to car park is on Charles Street next to Sainsbury's. You will need your ticket or to enter your car reg if prepaid to open the door to get in. Only 6 mins walk to Bradford Live.
Found it a bit tricky to find my way out of BUT that's just me.nParking spaces of adequate size for normal sized cars. Well lit, clean and cameras in evidence. Competitive tariffs.
On several occasions, I have been stuck in queues of traffic to exit this car park. Last time, it took us 30 minutes to get out of the car park and it was a bit of a free for all with other annoyed drivers all honking at each other and pushing in front of each other by cutting across parking spaces, going the wrong way up one way lanes and tailgating drivers in front of them which had kindly let out. People don’t seem to understand how to do one at a time so everyone moves quicker. It was wild. Perhaps the shopping centre should use their security guards to help direct traffic when the car park is grid locked like this.
