Stuck for 45 minutes after the theatre, with about 100 other cars, because the exit barriers were broken. Very unhelpful person on pressing the help buzzer. It ended up that someone who was also trying to get out had to dismantle the barrier to let us all out.
Well placed for the theatre but getting charged the 12 hour tariff price of £12.50 for 4 3/4 hrs parking is disgusting!
It's a multistory car park, with lighting that only goes on as you drive through which is a bit hard on tiered eyes! No loos inside either so if you've had a long journey be prepared to walk to Century Park unless you are booked into Jury's Inn. It's expensive too but as long as your car is safe I suppose that's all that matters.
Good value for weekday, evening parking - plus the exit barriers accept contactless payment, so no need to queue for the ticket pay machines
A good carpark easy access to theatre and when u produce your ticket at the theatre you can have a discount on your ticket
What an expensive and badly run car park! We arrived at 7.15 last Saturday evening, one of the entrance barriers was not working - nor was it coned off, so I had to reverse out and go in the other side. Then when we returned 3 hours later, we were charged £8.20 for just 3 hours. Disgusting - we will not be using this car park again. Be warned!
NICE SITUATION FOR THE THEATRE BUT ON LEAVING THE THEATRE WE HAD TO QUEUE DOWN THE SIDE STREET FOR AGES JUST TO USE THE PAY MACHINES. ON USING THE MACHINE WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN £8.50 THE MACHINE CHARGED US £13.50 FOR THE EVENING. THAT PRICE IS FOR A FULL DAY. THEN WE HAD THE LONGEST WAIT IN QUEUES AROUND THE WHOLE OF THE CAR PARK JUST TO GET OUT. IT WAS GRIDLOCK. IT RUINED THE WHOLE EVENING. IT WAS ACTUALLY DISGUSTING AND I WONT USE IT AGAIN OR ADVISE ANYONE ELSE TO USE IT. P.S. THERE WERE ONLY 2 MACHINES FOR PAYING, ONE TOOK CASH AND ONE CARD. NO GOOD WHEN A FULL THEATRE OF PEOPLE HAVE USED THE CAR PARK THAT EVENING AND THE QUEUES ARE VERY LONG. FORTUNATELY IT WAS A WARM NIGHT ON MONDAY 15TH JULY. HAD IT BEEN WET OR A WINTER MONTH IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SOUL DESTROYING STOOD OUTSIDE IN THE STREET JUST TO QUEUE FOR A MACHINE.
Really reasonable day rate if you get there before 9:30am, currently £4.50 all day parking
Convenient and easy to park with lots of car park spaces available
Good parking very central, although credit card wouldn't work on way out.
