Where to begin. #1. It's been 10 months since covid restrictions have been lifted in the UK and yet the surgery still locks its doors and requires patients to ask permission to enter the building causing them to have to shout through the reception window information about their appointments or medical needs removing the patients right to privacy and confidentiality in breach of GDPR regulations and NHS charter regarding duty of care and preservation of patient dignity potentially creating safe guarding issues for vulnerable patients. #2. Attempting to obtain an appointment with a GP is next to impossible, in the year myself and my wife have been at this surgery we have seen and spoken to a fully qualified doctor twice and any attempt to seek treatment from a doctor results in being sent to see a Nurse Practitioner as the surgery requires patients disclose their confidential and personal medical concerns to an untrained receptionist who then emails the GP to determine if you are deserving or not of his invaluable time, time he is paid for using patients tax money and NHS funding. #3. Seeking a referral is almost impossible for the last month my wife has been seeking a referral for specialist treatment only to be told on three separate occasions that the medical secretary is not in work but will be back in X days, when my wife calls to follow up at the specified date she is told the same thing again or outright hung up on and ignored. The reception team don't seem. to understand that they are employed by the NHS to serve the public not abuse the public many of whom are vulnerable and desperate. #4. Requests for medication are outright ignored resulting in patients being left to go without needed medications with no explanation or expression of apology by the surgery. #5. Raising any kind of complaint or expressing any kind of dissatisfaction with the surgery, its staff or the treatment recieved has reception staff and the practice manager labelling you as "abusive" and hanging up the phone as they'd rather abuse NHS policies to avoid accepting fault or admitting guilt when failing those to whom they owe a duty of care. Anyone seeking a GP surgery in Bradford is better off looking elsewhere. You will not recieve treatment or help here only abuse, neglect and malpractice. I will be raising my complaints with the ombudsman, CQC, patient advocacy and the NHS Trust as the surgery is in desperate need of direct oversight from an organisation able to ensure that the surgery does not profit from the suffering and misfortune of those it is there to support.
The worst doctors ever especially doctor Hakeem worst ever experience he refused to sign my mother in law’s death certificate for a very petty reason. He has no humanity in him and is so unprofessional calls himself a doctor we was blessed that the ward she was admitted in the doctor agreed to sign death certificate he was a angel in disguise. Rude horrible staff will definitely switch gp now
I was told Friday 4th Nov 2022 that my mum needed an appointment and that I had to ring at 8am Monday morning ...I did this to be told that she had to be triage and that a doctor would phone back .but it is 11.30 and still had no phone call from a doctor so I rang surgery again to still be told that I still had to wait for the phone call from the doctor . THE STAFF ARE VERY RUDE AND YOU CANT GET PASSED THEM . I even spoke to the lady that said she needed to see a doctor and she said that we have to still wait for him to ring ,even though she said my mum needs an appointment... THIS SURGERY IS A JOKE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS BEENING A COVID HUB and how good they are at that .don't give a s##t about the patient they get payed for on there books
I've had a very bad experience the staff are absolutely horrible so rude and they think they are doctors. Will never go to them again my needs weren't met but if you want to go private he will see you straight away you're seej to the same day
Called about possible prostrate cancer as I have had symptoms since early Feb 2022. Was told a clinician would call me back within 72 hours. When nobody called me back, I sent an email to follow up. Still nothing. When called this morning to address the situation, I was told that this hasn’t been passed to any doctor as of yet and that it will be done today. I asked about the complaints procedure as this is not good enough. Was put on hold for ages and then told that the Practice Manager has said that ‘if you don’t like the way we run the surgery you should find a different surgery…’ Was flabbergasted with that response as it clearly shows an attitude of they can not possibly be wrong and it MUST be the patient. The whole culture is of incompetence and lack of transparency. It’s a shame because the actual main GP is very good and well qualified and has been extremely helpful when you actually get to speak with him. I just think that his support staff are not competent or at best they lack training in their roles. It doesn’t help when there is no professional disconnect between the GP and his practice manager, as the practice manager is the GP’s wife. So, let’s see if anything is done about my fears and anxieties around the possibility of prostrate cancer. If not then I really don’t know how to move forward.
Had my vaccines for covid at this practice. Brilliant treatment from admin to clinical staff all were polite informative and helpful. Felt reassured and was comfortable. During the crisis the clinic was rushed and they effectively carried out hygiene and it was like a smooth conveyor belt running.
Worst people ever met in my life....careless doctors who always try to hide and avoid patients. In each scenario they try to delegate to the pharmacy or 111. I had my ear surgery 3 days ago and the bandage was paining and it was dirty as well. Since yesterday I am requesting to my GPbeing my first medical reference point just to check if the bandage needs to be changed or not.....but my doctor instead to talk me preferred to give guidelines to his secretary who was on call with me.....when I requested to talk directly to my doctor they refused and hung up the phone on my face....I am not a doctor and they do not understand this. They do not understand that we contact them not because we want to have a chit chat with them but because feeling unwell. Sometimes we may need just some confirmations or explanations regarding our health but obviously they instead to empathise with us they simply delegate to google. All other's surgeries are open they are the only one who still have the door closed.....just imagine.....you can't walk in your GP because they are sort of closed. The extreme is that if you need to give a sample of urine they tell you to go in the nursery just next to them.....so we being their patient in case of any need have to go in another nursery because they are still "closed".
Literally the worst doctor surgery ever, my son had his bloods done three weeks ago and I have been chasing them for over a week trying to get hold of the results, only to be told everyday that they will pass message on to the doctor. You can never get appointments and the doctor only wants to see private patients. Only time they will call you is when they want you to get the flu jab. Absolutely ridiculous.
Disgusting practice. Rude receptionists aswell as their supervisor ANN MARIE. They make you feel like us patients are always wrong and staff members are always right. Phone calls should be recorded aswell as this practice needs a close watch. Went to my appointment yesterday and the doctor was on phone to specsavers most of my appointment then didn’t let me know what’s going on with my referral aswell as telling me to drop a urine sample off but ANN MARIE aswell as some other receptionist were adamant the GP didn’t say that like they were sat in my appointment with me. This surgery has been appalling since DR AL AZAB retired. I will be going to the local council about this surgery aswell the healths ombudsman! Needs closing down as they rather argue with patients then treat them! VILE PLACE! ANN MARIES words to my mum ‘if you don’t like the way we run this surgery then leave’ how disgusting are these staff members! FUMING is an understatement.
There is a fiduciary duties between a doctor and patient, but according my personal experience Dr Hakeem of Bradford Moore Practice does not have these at all. He give no respect at all to patient, last time my appointment with him really give a shock whether Doctor can be so rude and below the normal standard of behaviour. I personally do not think him of having any sentiment for patient . I request to must learn a lesson of morality , as It hurt me lot . A successful person learn from mistake .
