Turned up at this centre this morning with our little one, but told this is not a walk-in centre but have to dial 111. So don’t be mislead by Google search showing this up as a walk in centre; go straight to Burmantoft’s centre. Wonder if the centre can do anything about putting a message up to notify ‘appointments by 111 only ‘ !!!
Always been fantastic with our children when very sick-Reception always nice-Couple of bad doctors several years ago with my own treatment-The recent doctors have been amazing! Lexicon house is always our first choice as they always been fantastic with the kids! Thankyou
After calling 111 I was referred here for an urgent check up with a Dr, when I arrived I waited 10 minutes to be seen despite being the only one there. I was taken through by Yuen Fong Solomon Wong, I’m not convinced he was a qualified Dr. He was scruffy, rude, impatient offered very little in the way of a consultation and would have quickly had me on my way after a couple of minutes had I not pushed for the checks the man on the 111 line suggested I should have. He reluctantly checked me over in an angry way. I left having wasted an hour of my time, with no helpful solution to my condition. I thoroughly understand after this visit why people don’t bother getting seen by Drs if this is the bedside manor they are greeted with, it’s completely unacceptable. It’s not too much to ask to be greeted with empathy, patience and kindness in those situations.
Don’t waste your time attending. Doctor arrived into the building 30 mins late for my appointment, the appointment was just 10 mins in length. No apology for this. The outcome of the appointment after taking blood pressure was to visit my doctor. After a recent infection, you would expect more care and attention. Waste of an hour.
One of the worst telephone consultations I’ve ever had, doctor wouldn’t even let me speak, told me to just take tablets and rest and just shut the phone. One of the worst experience ever. Truly and utterly disappointed. Genuinely hope that no one is transferred to this place because it’s the worst practice I’ve ever had to deal with
Given an appointment at 8 pm today after ringing 111. Had to take my husband who has mobility problems. Arrived on time only to be told that there was no doctor so no appointments available. Not best pleased to say the least. Arrived home to find a message on the answerphone at 7.17, after we had left home, saying that someone would contact us later. As yet, no further information. Perhaps it was just unfortunate, but not really satisfactory.
Ridiculous experience today. I went in for a suspected UTI, was assessed by a lady that didn't even introduced herself. No sign of bacteria in my sample, but still pain similar to the one I've had before with a uti, doctor told me to go get a medication over the counter called baclofen. I then went to the pharmacy at 2230pm and was told that medication is only on prescription. Complete waste of my time and I'm still in pain. I expect better care from medical professionals!!!
Within an hour of speaking to a 111 doctor for my son we already were sat here at our appointment, brilliant service and treated my 7 month old baby now he’s so much better. So glad services like these are available on weekends
Offered an urgent appointment, arrived well within time. Sat and waited patiently for an hour. No doctor onsite yet... I was advised my wait was likely to be another hour so I said no problem I will have a short walk and come back. Came back still no doctor. Advised to go home and come back later that evening. Came back, appointment late again. No wonder people end up in a&e unnecessarily
My appointment was delayed 5 times when I finally got to the room I my appointment took about 2 minutes when dentist undoubtedly made fun of me and not even really looking in my mouth told me that he has seen nothing and I should call and make another appointment him to look again which I am not going to as I am not willing to pay again just someone to make fun of people problems. Unbelievable- well it might a been some temporary dentist as it was delayed sooo many times!!!
