Absolutely amazing. Went for lunch £22 for 2 courses menu starter + main or main + dessert and well, highlight of your week guaranteed! The seared tuna on a bed of puffed rice cake with squid ink is DIVINE. Service was great, lovely waitress, good jazzy tunes on. No words, just go.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Cosy atmosphere for dinner or just a glass in the wine bar. Fast and friendly service from the waitress and her wine recommendation was excellent. Starters tasteful and very well displayed grilled squid and salmon cake. It is the mains that made it a 5 star experience though. Both the halibut and the duck were top class. Finishing off with a fresh and not too sweet raspberry cheesecake. Happy to recommend Brackenbury Wine Rooms.
What a find!!! A genuinely lovely place that loves doing good food well. The flavours textures. Everything was on point. Quality ingredients. Staff are incredible and attentive.
We had a really good cote de beouf with paired wines, well worth a visit!
Went there with my good friend. Had the Seared Tuna for lunch with some fabulous redwine. Our Waitress Eva was lovely and attentive. Service was great. The food was very good. I would like to try more of the wine and food next time.
A very relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff where the food was of high quality. Eva the waitress was extremely knowlegable about the wine menu and provided an excellent service throughout. A very pleasant dining experience.
It has a fine selection of wine. Unfortunately if you're not a wine drinker, their beer offerings are extremely limited. The food here is pretty terrible. Been here on multiple occasions and it was the same experience over each time with different dishes. Also - when I was trying to determine which wine to go with, I asked to sample a red and a white. The waiter seemed to have an issue with this - as he went and told his manager. His tone for the remainder of the evening turned condescending.
Nice atmosphere with set menu offers for lunch and ample outdoor seating for summer. Staff are knowledgeable too. Great wine menu!
Discovered this bar-restaurant recently while I was going past. Cosy atmosphere with the right melodies, a variety of wine labels, and delicious food. Try fish & chips served with a fantastic tartar sauce & confit duck. Very friendly and attentive staff as well. Eva the manager was there to deliver impeccable service along with her sophisticated wine knowledge. Certainly worth visiting again!
Nice little restaurant, serving up a good value 2 course set lunch special, with an added bonus of having a large selection of wines by the glass. Food was mostly delicious, however the onion in my main meal was too overpowering for the rest of the delicate flavours. Service was prompt, as was the food delivery great if you're after a quick lunch. Looking forward to visiting again, hopefully for a few more wines!
