A decent Young's pub. Sunday roast was a tad underwhelming, although the pork was great and really well flavoured. If you're stuck for somewhere to go in the area, you'll be fine here, although not a wow. Staff were super nice and friendly and food was quick.
A truly fantastic pub and hidden in such a great area. Well worth the trip for great beer, welcoming staff & a fun & friendly environment. There’s also a fun pub quiz upstairs every week and garden!
Nice pub and good service. Good menu options. Unfortunately the food didn’t meet our expectations, the fish was soggy, the burger over cooked and the beef of the roast was chewy.
Nice pub to visit for a drink, traditional, and a good range of beers. But, food we had was very average, we had a 'Classic Ploughmans', I think it was called, and it was disappointing, slices of bread, which were quite dry, no cheddar cheese, but another one, a sausage roll !!, pickles, some salad bits, no tomatoes !!!, and chicory leaves !!. Visit for a drink, but be wary of the food. On the plus side, the toilets, although tired and shabby, were extremely clean, and the staff are lovely.
Nice pub serving a wide variety of larger and other drinks. Good atmosphere in the evenings ideal for a drink with friends, book ahead as can get busy especially if in a large group.
The Lamb pub on Lambs Conduit Street is a charming and cosy establishment that offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The pub's interior is elegant and traditional, with a mix of classic and contemporary decor, creating a unique and stylish ambiance. The bar offers an impressive selection of drinks, including a range of local and international beers, ciders, and wines. The pub also has an excellent menu that features a variety of delicious and well-executed dishes, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty pub classic or something more sophisticated or just a great roast on a Sunday, the Lamb has something to offer. The outdoor seating area is another highlight of the pub, providing a good spot for a pint on a nice day. With its prime location on Lambs Conduit Street, one of London's most picturesque and vibrant streets, the Lamb is a great destination for a lively night out or a leisurely weekend afternoon or post-work pint.
Amazing place, fantastic food and service. I didn’t know the place was so old and amazing! Shy the bartender told me all about the history of the building and was so fun to chat with. She also is super good at suggesting a beer based on what you like, I had two really good pints that she suggested.
The lamb is a fantastic unspoilt tradition pub, with an original Victorian interior featuring a very rare surviving privacy screen around the bar. Serving quality cask conditioned real ale, this wonderful pub is well worth seeking out. It's also has a very rare Victorian music machine on the wall, I have never seen one anywhere else. An absolute gem of a pub highly recommended.
Was lost and quite frankly tired of listening to my partner gripe at me. We past this pub and I refused to go farther. Stopped in and had a couple of pints. The bar tender gave me the directions we needed and the beer I wanted. He was brilliant. After that dragged out to yet another museum by my partner. At the end of the day we went back for another pint. Great place, I recommend it highly.
Fabulous ancient pub. Sunday roast was delicious. Sophia was a terrific bartender and service was overall really good. This was seemed to us a very authentic London pub. Highly recommended.
