Well worth a stop if you're in the area. Reasonably priced good food and friendly atmosphere.

Love this pub, had a couple of different landlords over the last couple of years but still great food & amazing service. Went in on Friday 12th July for the lovely rag pudding which is still on the menu, so good! I hope it goes well for the current landlord.

New owners only been there a couple of weeks June 24. Just started food Wed-Sun 12-7. Good food with generous portions.  Great value for money and a nice relaxing atmosphere even when it's quiet.  Cracking little pub x

Went in yesterday, been a few times in the past as we like the chilled out atmosphere. We ordered cheese and onion pie and braising steak for mains and apple pie and custard and trifle for dessert. Together with a pint and a soft drink. The food was lovely and as always the pub felt welcoming. All came in at a little under £23 which is very good value indeed. Thanks to all at the Border Rose.
