The Bootlegger is a bar for all times, a place without pretence. Our liquor, our service and our music are inspired by Prohibition-era traditions but also offer the very best of contemporary modern America. We believe that a bar is what its patrons and community make it, which is why we serve true, well-crafted cocktails, Beers and Ciders all within a live music environment. Prohibition was a sad time in history when beer was banned, it lasted 14 years! On December 5th, 1933, the 21st Amendment was signed repealing Prohibition and restoring sanity and permitting the consumption of beer again! The Bootlegger continues to celebrate this momentous occasion today and every day.
Live Music and a great atmosphere are at the heart of the Bootlegger. We build on the very best of the 1920s and 30s swing and jazz scene and also offer more modern influenced Blues, Jazz, Soul and rock n roll.
