How come you don't go to the place on your doorstep? Well tonight we did and was very pleased with the outcome. Calves liver was soft and delicious as was the pork medallions followed by chocolate and amaretto torte with good quality vanilla Ice cream. Recommended.

Miserable landlord. Not very understanding after a funeral wake despite it being for one of his own customers. More importantly a forces veteran who had enough of his old comrades in the pub celebrating his life to keep the pub in profit all week. Lots of money put behind the bar but unfortunately when the noise got a little bit loud he unfortunately caused a bit of a scene with an old veteran which made everyone move to the next pub (the Crown - very welcoming by the way). This was convenient for the miserable git who had his regulars coming in for the weekly quiz! He called himself a Glaswegian like the veteran who sadly passed. That was where the similarity ends. I can't imagine noisy pubs in Glasgow. Avoid if you can.
