Service not very good on last visit. Wanted a quick meal and waited nearly an hour. Asked for gravy in a gravy boat and it came on meal, then took another 15 to plate meal up again. Did complain and only paid for drinks. The new waitress/bar staff was very pleasant and cheerful, unfortunately can't remember her name.

This is one of my favourite places to visit for a carvery. I have been quite often for the buffet breakfast too. Can't fault the place. Nice food, lovely staff.

AVOID!! The worst place in Derby for food and drink. Makes McDonald's next door look like the most exquisite dining experience that you will ever have.

Gareth was friendly and inviting, requested us to fill out test and trace which is reassuring. Carvery was excellent and so was the brownie Sunday. I do wish they were wearing face masks though,very pleased from all other aspects of the visit :

*Hotel review* If you like the hum, vrum and general road noise this is the hotel for you. Convenient location, but right in the middle of two busy roads. Room was clean, bathroom functional. Breakfast was adequate.
