Great food, especially the steak and ale pie, very accommodating staff, quality ales, and not too dear. Would highly recommend, one of the best places to eat and drink in the Georgian Quarter.

Top end of town : Quality Pub with Breakfast & food and sells all the Liverpool spirits from Halewood Wines & Spirits....this place has a feel of the 1800's but with quality decor & furniture.....

Friend told me they did the best breakfast in Liverpool. He wasn't wrong. Two full breakfasts for £10. Veggie version includes hallumi, veggie sausages, hash brown, veggie black puddings, beans, tomato, eggs, bread, mushrooms and avacado.

Stayed with my mum in a twin room the night of a concert at the Echo Arena in early December. It was a really good night's sleep with a decent sized room and good facilities. The breakfast the morning after was excellent and the hosts were lovely. We'll definitely be staying here again.
