Great spot and highly recommend coming here if you are in Liverpool! The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant offers more tapas style (but not Spanish or Mexican inspired) choices, that is to say dishes that are to be shared with with your party. They also had a good selection of wines from which to choose

Just finished the best meal I've had this year. Exceptional place. Ace staff, food, great selection of drinks, super atmosphere, even at 5.30 in the afternoon. Get it booked, you'll not regret it.

Went there for my birthday yesterday, not the cheapest of places, but you pay for quality food, locally brewed beers and amazing service. I would recommend Oktopus to anybody, fabulous

Interesting British tapas, some of which is gorgeous and some of which is just interesting. Menu changes regularly. Loved the popcorn mussels - think they are a regular. Need two portions of tapas per person really. They do regular mains too. Menu not extensive, but something for everyone including vegetarians. Loved the puddings. Loved the wine list. Good selection, reasonably priced mostly £20 up to £30. We had a good gruner weltliner. Disappointed not to be able to have a hot drink at the end of the meal. We had a long drive back home and a coffee would have been very welcome.
