Great beer and could be an amazing pub if refurbished. It has most certainly changed for the worst. It looks abandoned but is in fact still open to the public.
Certainly a pub of it's time, but manages to keep good beer. But not one to take another to impress. Major refurb and renovation required overdue
Disgusting wine glasses full of dirt I can only describe it as stale dust...toilets dirty never seen a toilet brush and no toilet paper and a dirty wet towel to wipe hands dry!! Only went there because the red cow was shut.....never again not worth even 1 star...but wouldn't let me submit review otherwise.
Fantastic Christmas Day up the Mighty Black Bear.
Could do with cleaning up outside and making the pub more attractive to customer.
Once a great pub but you will be lucky to find any ale on these days.
Great beers and a choice of 6 draught largers, 4 being independent British.
Don't go here all who ente do so at there own peril
Could be a little goldmine if they spent some money on the inside and outside.
Really old pub, good choice of ales.
