Very nice and friendly pub, clean and well maintained. Food was excellent. This pub has come a long way from what it used to be. Some of the menu items were unavailable, this happened on a few visits but the menu items that they did have were of very high quality indeed, will eat here again 100%
Well after a break, tonite we went back and was very impressed... New managers were great, made us feel very welcomethere were 10 in our party, the meals were fantastic.. Nice to see the pub buzzing... Well done to Ronnie, Sam & becky... See u soon
Won't be going back had to wait 50 minutes for food . There were only 4 people in the pub so the chef wasn't rushed and when it came is was poor
Warm and friendly family pub. The food is good value for money. There is a lovely beer garden with great views of the surrounding area and the staff and owners are very welcoming. Would highly recommend.
A little gem of a pub with a very welcoming atmosphere to be enjoyed by diners and drinkers alike. Rita deserves a special mention with a welcome and a smile to brighten even the darkest of days. Highly recommended.
Took my dogs there and family loved it and love the food to I would recommend the burgers so good
Very welcoming, food very good. Maybe slightly more salad with the chicken and bacon would have been appreciated, however very tasty. Shame no jacket potatoes on the menu, the freshly baked baguettes were delicious.
I have visited the Hilly House every day for over 30 years and have made and lost a lot of friends there. The present management are proving to be the best since Trisa a few years ago and i am hoping the place will now pick up and i will see the friends that left.
Friendly local with lovely staff and great food. Sarah Savage must get a special mention for her pint pulling skills and excellent banter. 10/10. Everything you want in a Barmaid.
Nice food , happy to help staff
