Well, let’s start with the front of house Stavros who is excellent. So welcoming and attentive with a ‘nothing is a problem’ attitude. Moving onto the food, the photos speak for themselves. The hake with lobster bisque was out of this world! Some of the tastiest food we’ve experienced. Starter and dessert equally flawless. Zero faults to be found with all three courses and we wish we lived closer so that we could visit every week. We envy the local people! Highly, highly recommended.

Love this place. Have only started visiting fairly recently I’ve been missing out all this time! and will definitely be returning soon. Have tried the burger and roast dinner, of which you can get a choice of meats. They also do a steak deal on Thursday which I will definitely be trying soon. Keep up the good work guys!

We came back to the bird in hand for the Valentines set menu, it was hard to choose what to have as all of the options sounded so delicious! We were not disappointed with the food. All our three courses were delicious!nThe staff are so warm and friendly, the head chef Alex also came to say hello. Such a lovely atmosphere and the most amazing food!nWe can't wait to go back again!nWe even finished off with a very nice expresso martini.

Went last night, absolutely cracking food and great service. Interesting menu, standard fare and a few more exotic choices. Staff were excellent and attentive. Priced competitively. Will be going again for sure.

After living in the village for years, first time going back to the pub since renovation and what an amazing renovation they have done. The food was also amazing, very friendly attentive staff and busy for a random Thursday night which is also a good sign! I had the pie of the day which was delicious home made and generous portions. Other members of our party had the fish special which was presented amazingly and also got great feedback, and finally the chicken burger which was also very tasty. Dog friendly too.
