Food was amazing, very quaint and cozy. Looks like a cafe from the outside but looks can be deceiving. Staff were lovely.

Excellent quality of food. Came here for a brunch and was impressed by menu. Food arrived a short time after the order was placed and all I can say is that I wasn't disappointed. Good prices and quality service. Will definitely be back.

This is an atmospheric little family-owned restaurant in the centre of Chester. My father and I were served by Alfie and Louise who were friendly and efficient. As an aperitif we had a layered Kir Royale prepared by Louise (which contained a generous measure of Creme de Cassis). This was followed by a sharing plate of lovely crisp whitebait washed down with a good glass of Vermintino. For the main course we had a pave rump steak which was cooked to perfection (in my case blue). This was accompanied by ratatouille, salsa verde and skin-on chips. We chose a bottle of a Côtes du Rhône Villages from the wine specials list and were delighted with our choice (Alfie had attended a wine tasting with some colleagues and they had together chosen this one to serve in the restaurant). I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a reasonably priced and excellent quality meal and for the friendly welcome given by the staff.
