Ordered food at 6.05 pm for delivery at 7.10pm i know friday nights normally busy so waited until 7.45/7.50 ish to call to be told delivery left the shop at 7.10 which it did state on just eat app. I expressed my concern that it wouldnt be very warm with it being out the shop so long . At 7.55/8 ish driver turned up and i felt the containers on bag and they seemed warm the delivery guy said he has just brought it straight from shop . I took it out bag to plate up and curries were warm at the most ,chips were cold , nan breads had sweated in bags as bags were wet but were now cold the chapati was cold and crospy round edges and the onion bhajis totally inedible actually looked burnt on some bits but again cold . If they had of called and said it would be a futher 30/45 mins it wouldnt of been a issue but to be sat in a bag in a car for best part of 40 mins no wonder the food wasnt great . We normally go in and collect food at least twice a week but after major surgery cant drive so thought id get delivery big mistake . I wont be rushing back again
Great curry's. Excellent chips BUT DO NOT GET A PIZZA . Had a madras pizza from other places and these put cheese on it WHY ??? JUST WHY ??
Delivery was quick around 35 mins Sunday evening. Flavourwise, not the best for me, taste is flat not much oomph from the fragrance and aroma of spices. Bought two posh nosh deals, both upgraded to king prawn mains for extra £4 each, balti and jalfrezi both taste very similar. They are some of the smallest king prawns - see photos. You get 8 pieces per dish, if they were proper sizes that would have been acceptable, but totally not worth it in this case, very disappointed. Deals seem cheap but you get what you pay for.
Ordered the Tiffin Selection with chicken Karai & Rogan as the mains...both were absolutely tasteless and possibly more bland than a korma and chicken tikka massala! He starters were also very tatseless chicken chst and bhuna prawn puri. Won't be ordering from here again
Disappointed last night we had the the tifin meal deal grat value for money but that is all no flavour bland , very disappointed
Ordered takeaway last night from here, I ordered the delight set meal, I asked for my three main curries to be bamb tikka, I received a phone call to say that would be an extra five pound, I agreed. When my meal arrived the lamb was tough and very chewy, the curry flavor was mediocre and tasted nothing like what they should, very disappointed, most got put in the bin. I would highly recommend they order a takeways from nearby, the likes of star anise and do a taste test as there food is fantastic. Can't be sending this quality of food out to people.
Used to really rate this place, then they cheekily changed the size of the portions for their meal deal, making the curry half the size of the real curry portions that you used to receive in the meal deal. False advertising really, as it doesn't state they've changed the size of the curry or that you're not getting the full portion. Felt a bit ripped off. If they'd made it clear, I'd probably not have minded the decrease in portion as it's a good deal still - but I'd of appreciated the heads up!
If you want your food to be late, cold and then only half turn up choose this place. asked the delivery driver why I was missing half my order he said ring the shop. Then they told me all the food left the shop and went on as it was my fault! turns out the driver had given it to someone. Never again!
Ordered paneer korma and chicken tikka masala for pickup. I recieved one extremely sweet paneer korma and another sweet korma with red food colouring in. The texture and taste were exactly the samesee picture attached. I called the restaurant and the staff member tried to explain to me, an Indian, that a chicken tikka masala and korma are the same curry, but korma has more almond milk in it. This is so wrong and the person talking to me knew this. There was really no point in arguing with him. No offer for refund or another curry or any apology at all. I would have understood if they had told me that they were out of chicken tikka masala, but instead tried to pass this off to me and denied it.
What an absolute disgrace that was, 12 hour shift and up since 5:15. Order at 19:15 and delivery arrives at 21:30, what a terrible terrible service. Got told delivery driver gave our first lot away to wrong person. Terrible terrible service and delivery. I’m back to bed now for work so without food and my family are eating the freezing cold food that has eventually arrived. Totally disgraceful
