Wow!! Where do I start?! Chicken tikka Madras with mushroom pilau and naga chips. The chicken tikka was very tender and tasty. The Madras sauce was outstanding and the instruction for extra garlic in the sauce was met!! The naga chips were absolutely amazing; crispy, tasty and not crazy hot!! This is a place I'll 100% return too and look forward to sitting in for a meal very soon! Thank you to the kind staff and the brilliant chefs ‍ Vegetarian options: You can change meat for any vegetable option you need Parking: Plenty parking outside and around the back of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Kids are very welcome. They even have some sweets on the desk for them.
Ordered a delivery, waiting time was good, around 45 mins to an hour which given it was an England match I thought was excellent. Slight issue with our mains whereupon our vegetable dish had meat in it but I have to say they were amazing about this and quick to put it right, another dish turned up within 10 minutes. Extremely tasty dishes, loads of flavour, plenty spice where you needed it and great quality. Have to say the management takeover is working and this has now become an excellent Indian. Delicious with great staff and service.
We tried again recently since under new ownership. Had chicken tikka bhuna and a chicken sag to share with lemon rice. Both were delicious. Really fresh, just the right amount of spice. The lemon rice was refreshing and tasty. We have had take away and sat in. We usually get take away here but sitting in was a nice experience too… the staff are lovely warm and friendly. It has a very traditional feel to the restaurant which is rare these days and we liked. Only thing to be aware of is they don’t sell alcohol anymore in the restaurant but you can bring your own.
Takeaway ordered via Justeat. Delivery was approx 45 mins late but it was well worth the wait! Every dish was incredible, very flavoursome. Delivery driver very apologetic too. Will order again.Food: 5/5
The Days Of The Raj has always been a good restaurant, but the management has recently changed and it's even better! Every dish I've had so far has been delicious, and the staff are great.Food: 5/5

Ordered the set meal for 2 to take out. Food was hot, service was great, quick and efficient. Food was a big disappointment, everything was just so very very bland! Chicken Korma sauce was delicious. Chicken on the otherhand was very dry. Onion bhaji was oily but also very dry. Tikka side- again Chicken was dry and pretty bland, onions tasted great, nice and crunchy. Lamb bhuna- bland, bland, bland. On a positive the lamb was cooked perfectly, so was a shame. Keema naan- cooked well but couldn't taste any keema what so ever. Aloo gobi- potato cooked well, sauce again was bland. Had been here a few month ago, and the food was amazing, so full of spices and flavour. Now not so much.
The food was delicious and the new staff are very friendly. It’s a massive improvement now it’s under new management. Keep up the great work, I’ll 100% be back
Our regular go to Indian restaurant for nights out with friends or family meal with kids Huge range of food including staple traditional curries plus house specialties We loved the mid week banquet offers and took the chance to try random options we’d never normally go for . Always made a fuss of the children and gave them sweets !
New owner made myself and my wife feel right at home. Great service fantastic food. Will definitely be back again soon.Food: 5/5
