Brilliant food, very pleasant people, definitely worth going
The owner's response reflected my experience! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! If I could leave no stars I would. First and last time I will go there. Went there with friends, apart from a 25 minute delay, food was cold and not worth the money at all! A butter chicken, it was not butter chicken, it was sweetened baby food with pieces of chicken thrown in. Absolutely awful customer service, very RUDE and they do not RESPECT customers. I really don’t think people should visit this restaurant if they are looking for a good day out like we did.
Was there New Year’s Eve and made our choice from the usual menu, then a waiter gave us another New Year’s Eve menu at £34.99 per person which we weren’t interested in. When he took our order we were told whatever we chose, we get a starter, main, rice, Nan etc at £34.99 pp. We didn’t want that and insisted on the order we gave at the price on the normal menu. The families on either side of us had the same problem, in fact one of them were only given the New Year menu. We were very disappointed for the first time as we are regular visitors. The food was also below the normal standard, Shame on you Ma’ida for trying to cash in! Will be a while before you see us again. 2/10 If it is your policy to have a set menu on New Year’s Eve why were the normal menus the only ones on our table when we arrived and why was your “policy “ not mentioned when I booked over the phone? You’ve let yourself down and possibly lost our regular custom!

Excellent food, staff friendly and service was quick, decently priced, place was very clean and excellently decorated, didn't serve alcohol which was a surprise to me.
First time I went to this place after years I stopped going to Indians as I was disappointed BUT now I will be going to Ma Ida as much as possible the atmosphere was excellent and the food was amazing. Please people go and try this for your self.Food: 5/5

Very nice food, decent prices and good service. Only thing was we were asked to pay a deposit only a few days before even though the tables were booked two months in advance and to get everyone to order in advance, a bit hard when you have booked 36 for a party including kids. Otherwise it would have been 5
