The best toy shop in Glasgow. Ideal if you're looking for quality gifts that you won't find elsewhere. Very sad that the traditional toy shops are dying out but absolutely brilliant to still see this one trading successfully.
Lovely shop with very kind and friendly staff. Purchased a great plush toy for a two year old.
Fantastic little toy store. Every inch of the store had excitement for children and memories for adults. My son 7 loved this store. Extensive brio range, joke section, puppets, jelly cat range everything a wholesome childhood could wish for. There were even replica vintage metal toys for adults to collect. I love the store experience it felt like toy stores of yester year, was really well priced and gems around every corner. I will be back for gifts and just because, time and again. The store owner had a really kind manner and a was pleasure to chat with.
This place has been here for years but i honestly don't know how, it's always dead inside and today when i was in looking for a gift for a friend i asked a question and got a pretty short cheeky response by the senior man, i asked how much an item was at the counter and he replied 'the same price as the other ones' as if i was stupid. Anyway he marched down to 'the other ones' and guess what there was no price on any as if i hadn't looked myself, ended up he said 'i think its £4.50' think? Any other shop they just scan the barcode as i would've bought it in any case it was a small affordable item. My advise to the owner would be get your price gun out and adjust your attitude as that is not a good reply to a customer asking that question, if you weren't trying to be cheeky well then it must just come naturally. Terrible
Bought a really good quality plush toy for my son today. He loved the toy, esp as it was his birthday!
An increasingly rare independent toy shop, I always find something nice when I visit
Fabulous traditional toyshop which is a rare breed unfortunately. Family run business with a wonderful range of traditional toys, teddies, Russian dolls, puppets and more. Would definitely recommend a browse and would encourage anyone to make the choice to go there rather than supermarket for childrens gifts.
The man I spoke with on the phone was nice and all but my request to e-mail me some photos was never done even though I was told it will be done the next day no problem. I called again to as a reminder. Weel later still nothing. You should have just said no in the first place. It just shows that you don't care about your customers.
Bought my friend a most wanted collectable bear for Christmas. Excellent service even wrapped it for me. Very friendly staff
Such a wonderful shop full of delights. The owner is very welcoming, and knows the toys so well, down to knowing the designers of some of his quality ranges. Bound to satisfy all tastes, ages and needs.
