This is the first forbidden planet I've been to where the entire store smelt like someone hasn't washed for a week in, so that was greatly appreciated. Actually, being greeted on the dot was nice welcome also.
As we no longer have a FB store where u live, always good fun to have a look around and see what is new. Problem I always have is when I'm skint I have lots of stuff I want to buy but when I have money I don't want to buy anything
Very impressive comic book store. I encountered some lovely staff who were helpful and friendly. Impressed with the eclectic mix of comic related books. Possibly the most floppies I’ve seen anywhere! One gets the feeling some areas are being developed and I’ll be back to see what their Lit and Star Wars sections grow into. Loved the images in the stairwell.
Forbidden Planet is geek heaven. You can find all sorts of comics figurines adorable stuffed animals to home furnishing form DC Marvel Harry Potter film and gaming stuff and a lot more. This shop is an excellent place if you're looking for present four that geek in your life the only problem is you will have difficulty deciding what to buy them. Staff in the shop are accommodating and very knowledgeable and can help you find whatever you're looking for. Accessibility into the shop. You have no problems getting a wheelchair in here and around the store, and there is a lift to the second floor, all you need to do is ask a staff member to take you up. If there is anything you cannot reach the staff are more than happy to help.
Cool store much better than the old location it was tiny! You have loads of room to look around at all the nerdy weeb stuff. There’s a whole room for manga and anime figures so you have lots of choice. They even do a deal with the manga too so I was able to buy a few without breaking the bank too hard
Friendly helpful staff. Has a ground floor and stairs to first floor. Large selection of magazines, posters and figures. Cool gaming t-shirts. Funky purses, backpacks and bags.
Very poor service from Forbidden planet today . Was in front of the store at 6am this morning, when the doors opened at 10.02 am , I was expecting to be greeted by a member of staff . No instruction given , there was zero free gifts and I had to buy something to get a free gift , I lost my place in the q as a result of this , thus defeating me being there an hour before any one else . Shoddy
Fantastic store, more than enough to satisfy the comic/anime fan
My fave FP in the UK! And they do some great deals too. Also have some exclusives locked in the cabinets.
This is a large, well stocked store. The staff is very good.
