We only stopped here as we had noticed it on our journey from Centre Parcs to the Sherwood Forest visitor centre but I'm so glad we did. The staff were very friendly and the taste of the fish was amazing. We had the fish special which was priced less than the main course but the size of the portion was still substantial. I can't fault anything and would highly recommend a visit to anyone.

I have been here many times over the years and never had rubbish fish and chips yet on the minus side though I don't like the silly little sauce sachets they use there is only enough tomato ketchup for 2 chips in them which is why I take a bottle of my own to use. The other thing is the waitresses need to act a bit more professionally chewing gum whilst taking the order is not good and last time I went the waitress was wearing rubber gloves whilst taking the order don't know what that was about maybe they had just had a coach party of swingers in

Great meal and not expensive at all. Beautifully cooked fish and chips. Staff lovely and friendly.
