Sunday carvery was superb. Meat was not dry and veggis not over cooked. Great grub.nReally friendly staff, very helpful with any condiments I wanted with my meal. Cooks were very busy but still managed to serve me within good time.nAll in all the alders was very warm and welcoming. Recommend a visit at least once.
Got in Alders 11.30 for Wednesday's curry and rice and soft drinks £12.50. got meals 10 past 12 just to find how curry and rice nearly cold very disappointed don't think it was the chefs fault I think it was ready before that just that the nice barmaid had for got to bring it to us. So a big thumbs down.
Access for person using a wheelchair was acknowledged and seated at a suitable table. Order was checked and correct, introduction to waitress. Waitress took drinks order, took photo for us, friendly and attentive. Food was brought in time, to order and hot. All looked and tasted delicious. We had a great time.
The carvery was lovely. All three joints of meat were of good quality and cooked to perfection. Plenty to eat and all hot. Staff were lovely, the pub was nice and warm and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely go again.
Just had a lovely meal with excellent service, Abbie and Taylor were lovely and helpful, and Maggie took our order with no hassle even though we were a bit fussy. We had wonderful food and there wasnexactly the right amount of attentiveness from the staff. Tables lovely and clean, cutlery and glasses also sparkling.nBeing able to have children’s size pudding portions was a definite plus and completed the meal perfectly. I only got photo of my dessert because the food was too good to wait for.nGood size car park and we could park near the door which was a bonus in Storm Bert.nToilets were clean too.nWe will definitely be returning and it won’t be too long!
