Came to the area and didn't know anywhere that we could eat. While looking for a MCds, we stumbled across this little gem. The building is very clean, and there is plenty of outside seating, as well as a number of tables inside. On entering, we had plenty of time to see what we wanted, with no rush. Lovely. We chose what we wanted, got our drinks and sat down. I had baked potato and salad with cheese, and my companion had ham egg and chips. There was plenty on the plates, and the ham was beautiful, proper ham. We had a cup of tea and a glass of fresh orange juice and all for £14. An absolute bargain. The staff were friendly and chatty, the customers were all relaxed and chatting, some loudly, which was nice to hear. Will definitely be coming here again when in the area. Keep up the good work girls, well done!!

My first visit to the forest corner.?which is now called the green Hut was as a customer and I found the food really good. And the staff friendly. And now I work at the green Hut and would recommend you to call and experience the place.

A nice traditional cafe plenty of off road parking (layby). Nice clean toilets
