Oursecond visit here. The food is just wonderful and the staff are very attentive. And they allowed us to take home what we couldn't eat as the portions are so generous. Will definitely be back again and again
Me and my partner came on Easter Sunday, it was quite busy. There was a menu online that I was looking at that was different to the menu they had in the pub. I asked the lady serving us if I could just have some hummus and flatbread as a starter this was on the online menu. She said that this wouldn't be a problem. When the starters came, I was given a platter of mixed breads, olives, balsamic vinegar and hummus. I said to the lady that I didn't ask for this. This was on the new menu and was double the price of the hummus and flatbread. She apologied and said the lady serving made a mistake. I was then brought hummus and some bread they said they didn't have any flat bread. This was very very yummy and the homemade bread was still warm when it came out. My partner had the garlic mushrooms and they were delicious. I ordered a Turkey roast dinner for my mains and my partner ordered the burger and chips. When the mains came out though, we were brought 2 roast dinners. The lady apologised and my partner had to wait 10-15 minutes for his burger and chips. Overall, the food was high quality and I would highly reccomend. The waiting time was quite long, it's understandable though, given it was a Bank Holiday. The communication between staff could have been at a higher standard. The only frustrating thing that was bothering us was dogs inside the pub barking constantly during our visit. Even customers sitting by us were complaining. It's not a pub to come to if you want peace and quiet.
Spot on for everything! All staff were pleasant, efficient and friendly throughout. Bell system is genius! Ring bell and staff are straight to your table to take your orders. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Try the chips and onion rings! The pie is excellent and burgers were tasty. Chicken burger was a little over done but still very good. Highly recommend!!
Amazing service with a bell on your table to call service. Outside had the most stunning views of Benllech beach. Food was decent pub grub with a good selection and specials menu.
Dog friendly. The food was good and plenty of it! We all got what we expected if a little overdone. The pie came without gravy though and, when we asked for some with the meal, we were told we'd have to go to the bar and order some then wait for it to arrive! The music was very heavy and loud which made it hard to have a normal conversation. A lot of the staff seemed to not know what they were doing and accidentally overcharged for drinks a few times. No one knew our table number and it wasn't on the table either which made ordering confusing but we eventually got the meal! The carpark is very small and quite difficult to turn around in too so be prepared to walk from somewhere else if needed. Overall an alright experience but not the best we've had so far on Anglesey!
Great beer choice. Summer season so busy but very welcoming.
Service quite disjointed, new staff getting used to working here it seems which is fair enough. Food was okay, there was a hair in the fish from fish and chips, menus should have intolerance notices as my friend was passed around to different staff after asking about gluten free options.
Amazing staff here, the blonde lady sorry I didn't get her name was excellent we stayed at the sandy bee for a week and came here quite a few times and they were great with the kids and excellent service Thank you
Pleasantly surprised. Good imaginative menu delivered speedily. Excellent choice of local real ales and good outdoor seating. Who serves a whole roasted garlic on a Mediterranean sharing platter? Bring it on!
Had a lovely Sunday lunch. The food was great and tasty. The staff very friendly and obliging, could not fault anything.
