When I was 5, I went here continuously with my family. The food was consistently amazing and now I'm back in Norwich, I've started going again. Since I've been back I go to a lot of Indian Restaurants, this is consistently the best. Every single time its fantastic. Its a little run down but the service is humble and the food is superb value for how fantastic it is and the portion sizes! I will continue eating here for years. Thank you for being the same memory I had 20 years ago.
My wife and I went here for a low key dinner date. Food was delicious, prices were fair and service was great Aaron, chef's daughter and a blonde lady were all lovely, friendly and helpful. And we'd go back again, even with all the competition. Only advice I'd give is that decor wise it could do with a bit of a refresh.
Went for a quite mid week meal out with friends. Had heard good things about the food here. The decor is a little outdated but we where greeted and quickly had drinks in hand, which was great. We ordered mains and sides. Which when they arrived looked fresh and delicious. The naan was lovely, my Tikka was full of flavour and well seasoned. The rice was light and fluffy! All around excellent food, absolutely delicious! Thank you
My experience was excellent here. My korma was very good and the lamb kebabs were so tender and tasteful. Can't fault the table service or price. Will definitely return as the meals were all very good. Thank you.Food: 5/5
Great family restaurant, atmosphere and friendly people fast tasty food
We came to celebrate friend's birthday. Very nice food, reasonably priced. Amazing tandoori chicken and king Prawn shashlik full of flavour! Portions are very generous so if you're not a big eater skip the starter. Staff friendly and efficient. Gladly would come back when in Norwich again.
Food is delicious and waitress was friendly and prompt to bring drinks, starters and mains. however the cutlery was a bit dirty looking and the place could do with some new chairs as they looked well worn and the decor could do with abit of a more modern take etc but overall I would return :Food: 4/5
Why is Indian food so bad now in the UK? If the lamb with garlic and chilli was quite nice, the chicken tikka masala was a red far too sweet gooey grub. The naans too doughy. The decor and worn out furnitures are in serious need of renewal. Quite cheap though but not that cheerful…
I will suggest not to go to this restaurant ever, the staff especially the managerals are pathetically ill mannereed. We booked from 6pm one friday and some of us were 15 mins late. They reminded us to leave every 10 minutes and kept bothering us to leave . Finally we left after the starters and they seemed surprisingly happy to see us leave. The taste is also declining every single time I ate.
Excellent food as always last night. Pleasant family run Curry house. Always a pleasure to eat here.Food: 5/5
