I have been going here for years. I would give them more stars if I could. Lovely friendly staff and the food is AMAZING. Fab portion sizes to. Lots on the menu to choose and also really good prices. Would definitely recommend if you love Indian food. I would never go anywhere else but here.
Traditional Indian restaurant with authentic decor ambience and music. Went on a week day and were the only ones there. The service was good and the waiter was attentive. The food came quickly. The portions were a good size and the food was tasty.
myself and my partner visited passage to India Yesterday. it was our anniversary and the waiter made it very special for us and we felt looked after and it made us feel like we were on holiday and not even in Norwich. it felt Authentic and the food was amazing. i will certainly recommend to my friends Thank you hope to see you again soon Emma and Tom
I've been visiting this restaurant for about 20 years. Only once had a minor issue with a starter which was quickly replaced, and have been on my own and in groups ranging from 2 to 20 birthday celebration and can say they are fantastic. Friendly, no pressure to rush and vacate the table and the food is great. It's already great value for money but if you look for thier deal on thursdays you get everything you need for about 11 quid not drinks, i'm going again tomorrow with friends!!
Avoid like the plague. Used to be great. Looks like they have got the cheap Z-list chef in. My curry tasted like someone had tipped a bottle of BBQ sauce in it! there are many better choices nearby. i have thrown the menu away
I used to luv going here when I lived in Norwich so when we went for the weekend we thought we would visit again. Its true what they say never go back. Definitely not half as good. Food cold within 5 mins and really everything tasted the same. Very disappointing
The food was actually cold when delivered....We'd have been better and ever so slightly richer getting a chilled meal from the supermarket! Quick turn in the microwave though and we thought our troubles were behind us. But no, it was not to be. The Tikka Masala was ridiculously sweet, sugary sweet, almost like the base for the sauce was an actual bag of sugar. The meat was chewy. Had we not known it was chicken we might seriously have mistaken it for rubber! Oh, and after the microwave our onion bhajis disintegrated into their component parts, leaving just a sad little greasy mound of onion sitting on the side of our plates. On the bright side, the delivery was on time and the delivery person was very friendly...so it's got that going for it...
2 hour wait for food. Called twice to check up on food and received very poor, very rude customer service on the phone each time. Also had rubbish service from the guy who delivered the food. When food eventually arrived it was mostly cold and unappetising. Avoid unless you want to be very disappointed..
Was there last night and had a great meal. Had the Thursday Special Banquet, which I can highly recommend, Can't say I have any complaints. Food tasted great.
Thursday banquet special is popular here. Staff are attentive & polite. Very well lit and clean. WC is through a maze-like tunnel. I would revisit this restaurant.
