What can I say really. It was a brief overnight stay. Overall the room was average, and there were the usual tea/coffee facilities and shower gel/shampoo bits and bobs. The downsides included the following: and the There were 2 beds,and they were right out of Goldilocks' story. One bed was so soft that it practically folded up around my husband when he lay down. The other bed was really hard - definitely would benefit from a topper. Nobody had a restful sleep. The other issue is that the room was very, very dusty. My 5 year old daughter remarked on how my phone got dusty after laying on the bed for just 10 minutes. If you patted the bed dust puffed up into the air. I have a chest problem for which I take various medications and woke with awful chest pain - the dust problem didn't do me any good at all. Your maids must begin vacuuming mattresses as well as floors. And get some polishing done too so the surfaces are dust free. Other things I noticed are that the bath taps dripped constantly and there was mildew in various areas all over the bathroom - I certainly didn't fancy getting taking a shower, preferring to wait until I got home. At various points during the night people were loudly coming back to their rooms - as a family with a young child it would have been better to place us away from party revellers. Someone was even knocking on the door at silly o'clock in the morning asking to come in. It took a couple of efforts with my husband growling "you've got the wrong room" for them to understand and leave us alone. To be honest I wouldn't want to stay here again. There's far to much wrong with it and there is absolutely no way this was worth the £120 we paid. On the plus side, the Indian restaurant served up a fantastic meal. The staff there were lovely and very accommodating. My daughter was delighted with her chicken & chips and generous portion of ice cream for afters. Thank you to the lovely man there. That's it really. I could list more issues, my it's not worth my time.

Good quality room for the price. One scuff mark to wall but otherwise clean & well fitted out. Tea/coffee in room, plus trouser press & mini fridge. Front desk very helpful, calling taxis & serving tea outside. Good buffet style breakfast, full English plus bread products. Note it's about 20 mins walk from Epping station, take a cab!

Rooms are dated. Shower was stone cold at 22.00. Breakfast was poor cold stood out for a while. Beds are old and soft. Staff are ignorant. I asked for a glass of ice for my room and had to wait till he had counted every note and coin in the till.

BEWARE Stayed at this Hotel The Bell inn Epping 21 / 22 Sep for my Neices Wedding had a really good time until I got home on the 23 and realised that I had left my wallet with quite a bit of cash cards Ect iin my room underneath the pillow because no safe in rooms contacted the Hotel to inform them of this never rang back had ring them again surprise surprise no wallet in room then a Rude member of there Staff talking over me on there desk and informed me I should put it in there safe I do not expect to stay in a well respected named company I. E The Best Western Group and have my Wallet Stolen I am not very happy with the response from the Hotel Staff and will be contacting there Head Office on Monday Disgusted is not the word and will not pass over there Threshholds again very very Angry . Cleaners are in a place of trust not in this Hotel there not Thieves
