This place is incredible! So many gluten-free options!! I couldn’t decide between them, so we left with several. And amazing flavor profiles! We got the Victoria sponge, dulce de leche brownie, lemon raspberry and rose loaf, and the lemon elderflower loaf. All of them were delightful! All were very reasonably priced and such a fun surprise to find! If you are gluten-free, you must stop in!!
Can only be described as delightful. Could feel my blood pressure lowering just slowing down having a delicious financier cake and coffee, surrounded by beautiful and quirky things. Good selection of gluten free cakes. Not just the usual brownie. Lovely friendly staff too. Hoping to come back tomorrow!
We visited on 29 July - after walking over to Crail with our dog from Anstruther. The ice cream they sell is delicious. My flat white coffee was awful. The machine had burnt the coffee so that it tasted bitter, and the steamed milk was over-heated which meant it burnt my tongue and tasted bad even when it had cooled. I sat down at a table as it is partly a café with my daughter, friend and dog to drink my coffee and eat their ice creams. A server came to me and said that whilst dogs were allowed in the shop they were not allowed to be near the tables. My dog, that was lying down slumbering next to us, was risen and taken on a pointless walk around the shop by my daughter whilst eating her ice cream - leaving me behind to fan my overheated and burnt coffee.
A gem of a shop and café. Good assortment of cakes and many menu options. Nice surroundings and good number of tables. Interesting hand made crafts and gifts and unusual books for sale. Very friendly and polite staff serving good food and drinks. Staff very obliging when I asked about the green tea they had used as it was very refreshing. They were so kind that they emptied their tea canister and gave it all to me to take home. We will definitely be back again! Highly recommend.
Lovely place with delicious desserts, ice-cream, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There are gluten-free and dairy-free options. The lady was very nice to us.
Freindly helpful staff; atmospheric clean cafe with artistic decor for your viewing pleasure. While enjoying a delicious + Also great range souvenirs + crafts for your perusal.
Finding something in a cafe that is both gluten-free and dairy-free is rare and for it to be delicious is rarer. I had a wonderfully moist and tasty gluten-free and dairy-free cake here. What a find! A very cute gift shop and cafe combo.
We were made very welcome. It was quiet but can get very busy. Delicious soup. Crab rolls. were expensive and on a seeded roll not to my taste
Visited today for the first time. On the one hand I recognise the difficulty of opening and running a business in a small village. On the other hand I didn’t think it very good value. The cappuccino I ordered did not look very appealing but once it cooled a bit revealed that it had been made with excellent coffee. The cake was absolutely fine but I do not exaggerate when I say that it was the smallest piece of cake that I’ve ever been served. It was £3.50 so not expensive but I would have rather paid a bit more and had a more normal sized serving. My wife ordered two ice creams and a coffee and it came to over £16. She queried it at the time and was assured that the sum was correct. When she told me what happened I assured her it was not possible, she queried it with someone else and was eventually refunded nearly £4.00. It was busy and mistakes can be made but could have been rectified earlier. Honestly, I’d go back, it’s s nice place in a nice spot. Hopefully for a bigger piece of cake next time!
Great little shop with some sweet treats and gelato.
