This theatre is fantastic, with excellent views from every seat—there’s truly not a bad spot in the house! We recently had the pleasure of watching Jamaica Love, and it was an unforgettable experience—both highly entertaining and educational, with incredible vocal performances. It would be a real shame if this venue were to close, as I’ve heard the council might be planning to shut it down. It’s such a vital part of the local community, and I sincerely hope it remains open for many more to enjoy.
Attended the Bollywood Odyssey show. Great venue and grounds. Outdoors very spacious and pretty nice lake outside. Great to take photos. Theatre is good size. Toilets were clean however the air purifier in the toilets were disappointing. Dont think it's ever been cleaned it's full of dust!!! So much for clean air.
We visited the theatre post Christmas for the panto - firstly, not from coming from the area, I was expecting a stupidly expensive car park... but no, a large FREE car park right outside was available! Much easier when you have children in tow! At the entrance we entered fairly swiftly with tickets scanned and in the foyer it's a large area where you can purchase food / drink. The theatre itself was large and fairly comfortable. Booster seats for the small children as we entered. At the interval we had to pop back to the foyer to get ice creams etc. where as normally would have expected someone selling in the theatre itself not a problem, but if one parent goes to the loo then you have to drag the kids with you back to foyer area! We had a great time at The Beck theatre, and the Panto was a hit with us all! And they allowed / gave us the chance to take photos towards the end of the show!
Great asset to the local area. Can't fathom why they would want to close this place. Beats travelling into London or Richmond. Lovely venue. I have been there for 2 events over the last 3 months & have been going the for decades. Great for adults & children alike. SAVE THE BECK !!!
I went to a lovers rock event here. The artists were amazing. John Mclean, Mark Anthony, Koffee amd many more Amazing night. Thanks to everyone that made that night
A very nice theatre venue for musical shows. We went to see "Frankie Goes to Bollywood" & the vocals were brilliant through the theatre sound system. I'd go again to see another good musical show.
A cosy little theatre with great acoustics, comfortable seats and generous leg room. Surprisingly affordable drinks and refreshments - a pleasant change from exorbitant West End prices. We saw the very talented Luther Vandross tribute act, Harry Cambridge and band. A great night out!
Attended for the recent showing of Jamaica Love!!! Fantastic historical musical journey . Scandalous that this venue may close. Have been coming here for over 10 years. It is an irreplaceable cornerstone of the community and will be a huge loss if it is allowed to close
First time visitor, lots of parking spaces. Stuff friendly, helpful, and polite. The theatre could do with a small refurbishment. The facilities and amenities still cater for a good night out. Try and support this theatre, and keep it in the community.
Great theatre with easy access, especially if you are disabled. Comfortable seats, having a foyer where you can purchase snacks, alcohol, iftr drinks and tea and coffee.
