A lovely old pub. Good range of both hand pulled & cask ales. Warm fires in winter with comfortable seating. Tables outside in warmer periods. Restaurant with a good menu, good service and food. Excellent attentive staff. Can be very busy so best to always book a table. Have visited & eaten there very many times over many years. Never disappointed.

Food was nice but not as good as I'd hoped. Although the other people in our party loved it.  Service was pretty slow.  Restaurant is very pretty and relaxed.

Friendly and comfortable with great food. We even brought our two beagles to sit with us in the bar for a drink and they loved it too, so it must be good. We'll be coming back with friends soon.

A great little country pub full of character, with lovely paddocked gardens, it a good selection of food and large range of wines, beers and ales. The service can sometimes be a little slower than you would expect but the food is generally good once you are served, would recommend.
