For me, did not live up to that rave reviews however was still nice. The seats were pretty uncomfortable and it was quite cold inside. Toilets are up steep stairs also.nI went to try out the world changing scone and was very disappointed to be given what to me was a cinnamon roll with butter on top?? Was totally confused….call me old fashioned but I like to cut open a scone and fill with jam and cream?? Maybe it’s just be! I will say though, the coffee was very good.
Lovely tucked away cafe, delicious food and good service
Very tired and grubby. The cinnamon scone was microwaved so much it was like Lava on a scalding hot plate. To top it off, tried to charge for food we didn't have but remembered his mistake as soon as I asked to see the bill! One to be avoided.
Came here about 10 years ago for the cinnamon scones and came back for lunch. Nothing has changed, still excellent plus I had the most incredible spicy peanut scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted. Was so good I didnt even have the chance to take a snap!
Friday morning.nRecommendations for the cinnamon scone are well justified. Delicious. Coffee very good. First time visit. Can't understand how we have not been here before this. Will definitely be back for lunch. The menu is very appetising.nInformative staff.
