A faultless experience. We had a family meal here with three generations from age six to sixty plus. Everyone was able to find something they liked and there were clean plates all round. The staff were friendly and efficient, without being over the top. Well worth a visit.

TL;DR served raw food 3 times before giving up. Had an absolutely shocking experience here. First they could not find our booking, next was the blank stare and shoulder shrug when we asked for a corner table if possible followed by being served a drinks bottle covered in mud. Oh and these are the same drinks bottles and glasses that survived 4 visits from the waitress to remain on our table until desert was served. Now the main course of the meal I had to return 3 times as my calzone had a crust of raw dough each time. I finally gave up and changed my order on the 3rd failed attempt leaving my wife to wait for me to be fed having eaten her dish already with no offer to remake hers or keep it warm. The manager came over and apologised saying the chef must be rushing but he seemed to do nothing to then correct that on subsequent attempts or even stick around to see if I was happy with the replacement. The severity seemed to sink in the 3rd time after I got up to find him and deposited a large ball of raw dough into his hand however his solution was a free drink and to not pay for my uncooked dish. Oh and on top of all this there was no toilet roll in the ladies and the staff were making snide comments to chef about the complaints coming from me and 2 other tables in earshot of customers. Highly unprofessional. Overall this place has a serious staff quality problem and I would recommend avoiding at all costs.

Great food and staff but tiiiiiiny portions. Good if you want to pay ten pounds to borrow a large empty looking plate for half an hour.

Have gone three times over the course of a year. Service over those times has been consistently slow/neglectful (20+ minutes to ask for a drink order after arrival and another 20-30 for it to come during light to moderate business), food was mediocre/bland (we had the king prawns starter (not king prawns by a long shot) and goats cheese pasta and pizza (both dry and bland) and on our most recent night, the prices on our bill did not match the menu. Asked for bill again, staff member was kind to re-toral, but numbers still didn't add up. Staff on the whole seem young and uninterested for the most part except for a few older staff who clearly look overworked trying to pick up the slack. Would be a 1 star review, but ambiance of restaurant is actually really nice. Will not go again.
