Absolutely outstanding restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were treated exceptionally well. It had an intimate and romantic atmosphere and everyone was lovely. The food was fantastic - expertly cooked with the flavours to match. The glazes, the seasonings, the sides: everything was given care and attention, down to the smallest thing. Considering the amazing quality of the food, the whole meal was great value for money. We had three courses each and a bottle of wine for little over £50. It was definitely worth than that.

Perfect romantic meal. The food was beyond compare, an amazing menu and everything presented beautifully (and with quantity which is often lacking in up market places). Cosy, intimate atmosphere with staff who are friendly and judge his patrons well. Often chatting to the guy on his own but mostly left my wife and I to it (anniversary meal), though talked when we did. To top everything off a set menu for 3 courses was £50. I wouldn't change a thing.

Faultless from start to finish. We visited as a party of 7 people, one of the party was dairy intolerant and one was a seven year old boy. I was extremely impressed with the attitude towards my dairy intolerant partner, separate butter and vegetable portions were brought to the table for him and all staff were aware of the intolerance. The attitude to my Son was also fantastic, they omitted certain parts of the food from the plate on request and even offered to make something specially for him. The food was beautiful, not a single complaint to be made. The atmosphere is lovely and so were the staff. I would recommend that you book in advance, and if there is anyone in the party with dietary requirements give them a forewarning so they can accommodate easily. I look forward to visiting again.

Very pleasant small restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic food at very reasonable prices with a nice bustling ambience. You really need to book.

Went here with a voucher I got for my 50th birthday from my inlaws and wow!! Lovely cosy place, friendly staff, fast service and quality food. No baked cheesecake though! Recommended
