You can see major works by all these great artists in the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, at the University of Birmingham. There’s also a stunning coin gallery and an exciting programme of exhibitions, concerts, lectures, gallery talks, workshops and family activities.

The Barber is also home to the University of Birmingham's departments of History of Art and Music, as well as the Barber Fine Art and Music libraries.

Lovely gallery, with some amazing pieces and always a friendly member of staff around if you need any help.

My daughters attend the Little Artists sessions and my eldest attends Creative Sundays. My children love attending and learn a lot whilst having lots of fun.

Both sessions offer a great introduction to art and art history.

One of England's best art galleries outside of London. I know that isn't saying much but still ...  Very nice collection well displayed in an uncrowded intimate setting.
