Since opening in 2008 Eastside Projects has been developing an interesting programme of exhibitions. Last year's Sculpture Show was excellent, an exciting mix of international artists and established, older generation conceptual work by artists including Art & Language and Mel Bochner. Liam Gillick and Dan Graham are other artists that have worked at the gallery. The architecture of the space is a lot fun (the door handle to the gallery is beautiful!) and their books and publications are great. It's an important, exciting art gallery for Birmingham.
