I read the reviews after I had been and was pretty shocked that all of them were bad. I went with Family we got 4 main meals and 3 drinks between us and it came to around £26. All the main meals are buy on get one free which is good. There is a good selection on the menu for kids and adults. I really enjoyed my meal as did the rest of the family, serving sizes were pretty good. Overall it is good when compared to other establishments of the same type and I would definitely go back. Great value.
after a 50 minute wait for my food I was left displeased. The staff were rude and didn't apologise for the slow service. The food was half decent, the chips just about warm and was very clear they weren't fresh. Mushy peas were cold and the fish only warm in the middle. The worst fish and chips id had by far, wish I went to a chippy instead. My friend also ordered a steak which was cremated to say the least. Not only was I displeased but a couple were waiting so long to be served they left. Another couple sent their food back after before hand asking for a refund and to be told there food was being set out. I wondered why the place was so dead. Not even worth and 2 for 1. I wouldn't recommend
We bring the kids here quite often, the children's play area is great - think "wacky warehouse" - and the prices are reasonable, but they need to rethink their hiring policies. You can book a party there, for a kids birthday for example, but you do not get exclusive access... I struggle to see the point of that. The adult side of the building is quite large also, and the food is fantastic - especially at the "2 for 1" price ;. There is one niggle though - the outdoor play area is a deathtrap. Pieces are missing from play equipment, making it very dangerous - even with supervision. Staff have, presumably after all the complaints about it, have now cordoned it off - which is why the 4 stars, instead of the 2 if that area was still accessible. Overall, though, I can't recommend The Bandstand enough.
I visited today and I am disgusted, first of all I had a 45 minute wait after waiting ten minutes at the counter because there were no staff. I ordered a burger and chips, however the burger tasted of fish as did the chips. I also visited the play area where the drinks were outrageous. £2.45 for a fruit shoot! I am disgusted and don't recommend going here at all!
Went for food bank holiday monday food was the worst the description of the food on the menu is not what you got my stacker burger half the ingredients were missing not nice food at all been twice everyone and thing deserves a second chance absolute rubbish over priced doesnt even deserve half a star took photos will be contacting company along with several others never ate meal and we spent £50 complete rubbish will be blogging more on other websites about this !!!
The managers son who works the bar and aldo takes food orders is unpleasent he poored my bottled drink ovrrflowing it and just sniggered.the other staff are miserable the place needs new managment and staff.food disgusting cold and looks like its been thrown together mostly frozen foodwont be going again and definatly advise any1not to.
Reasonably priced menu not always full menu available plenty of parking play area for kids
Will never go back even if you made me. Don't think they understand customer service at all. I use to like going there. I guess I need to find somewhere else to go. All I have to say is standards look it up
Had the soup. Staff pleasant and food delivered quickly. Can't fault it.
Good outdoor area for kids but no real ales unfortunately
